Desert Elopement with a Classic Cadillac
This vintage-inspired desert elopement was created around the idea that an intimate wedding can still feel elevated, playful, and full of personality. We wanted to blend the untamed beauty of the Nevada desert with a touch of old-school Vegas glamour, creating something that felt romantic and nostalgic without losing the effortless feeling of an elopement.
The vintage cream Cadillac became a major source of inspiration for the day and brought the entire vision together. Paired with the dramatic desert mountains, it created such a fun juxtaposition between rugged scenery and classic elegance. We kept the wardrobe and styling relaxed but elevated—a flowing lace-detailed gown, neutral linen-inspired suiting, retro cat-eye sunglasses, and a colorful bouquet filled with soft pink, blush, cream, and warm peach tones.
One of my favorite things about this shoot is that it doesn’t take itself too seriously. There are beautiful, romantic portraits, but there are also moments of the couple laughing, lounging on the Cadillac, taking a mirror selfie, and simply enjoying each other. We wanted the images to feel like two people ran away to the desert, got married, and spent the evening celebrating completely on their own terms.
The surrounding mountains and golden desert light gave us an incredible natural backdrop without needing an elaborate setup. Instead, we let a few intentional details—the vintage car, statement florals, fashion, and retro accessories—do the storytelling.
I think this submission would be a wonderful fit for Green Wedding Shoes because it offers couples inspiration for an elopement that feels both attainable and incredibly stylish. It shows that you don’t need a traditional venue or an over-the-top design to create a wedding experience with personality. A beautiful landscape, a few thoughtfully chosen details, and a willingness to have fun can create something unforgettable.
Let’s capture the genuine connection and natural moments.
Creating space for you to be yourselves while I capture the beauty already there.
